Optimization Guide for drivers, fairway woods & hybrids

Optimization Goal – to create and achieve a value of improved feel, awareness and performance.

1 – Start by modifying grip with TourLock grip modifier.
Make sure the inside of the shaft is clean and dry.

2 – Opti-Vibe Position Range: 1” to 9″
All measurements are measured from the top of the Opti-Vibe weight to the butt end of the grip.

3- Generalized starting point Opti-Vibe
Insert and tighten a 20 gram Opti-Vibe coutner weight at 4 inches from butt end of the grip. Cap off the grip with a 12 gram TourLock Pro counter weight.

Use lighter TourLock Pro weight if: Use a heavier TourLock Pro weight if:
Club feels too heavy
Ball hooks

Too much inside to outside path

Use Opti-Vibe in irons and wedges when:
TourLock Pro counter weight does not improve ball striking
Loss of feel & awareness of club head occurs
Too high launch

Here is a chart that can help you determine the best  TourLock Pro products to try.  For instance, if you have a low to mid handicap with an average swing speed, you would look in the RED areas to determine your best fit…a 16 gram weight would work best with your wedges.  This chart was compiled from statistics we recorded from over 250,000 golfers who have used the TourLock Pro golf club counter weight system.  Click on the image to enlarge.

Dynamic Alterations for Putters, Woods & Irons

 If club head feels too light you can:
1 – Move the internal Opti-Vibe weight  deeper into shaft
2 – Use a heavier Opti-Vibe internal weight
3 – Use a lighter TourLock Pro counter weight
4 – Add head weight

If club head feels too heavy you can:
1 – Move the internal Opti-Vibe weight  closer to butt
2 – Use lighter Opti-Vibe internal weight
3 – Use heavier TourLock Pro counter weight
4 – Remove head weight

If club feels too light you can:
1 – Move the internal Opti-Vibe weight deeper into shaft
2 – Use a heavier Opti-Vibe internal weight
3 – Use a heavier TourLock Pro counter weight
4 – Add head weight

If club feels too heavy you can:
1 – Move the internal Opti-Vibe weight closer to butt
2 – Use a lighter Opti-Vibe internal weight

Use a TourLock Pro Counter Weight (8 to 30 grams)  only when:
Opti-Vibe does not improve ball striking
Club is too long (very common) – 33%
Club is too heavy – 41%
Low launch –  78%  (when struck correctly)
Slow swing speeds  – 92%
Extreme slice or hook – 64%

Make sure the inside of the shaft is clean and dry.

2- Opti-Vibe Position Range – 1” to 9”
All measurements are measured from the top of the Opti-Vibe weight to the butt end of the grip.

3- Generalized starting point Optimal Weight Technology (OWT)
Insert and tighten a 75 gram Opti-Vibe coutner weight at 4 inches from the butt end of the grip. Cap off the grip with 12 gram TourLock Pro counter weight.

Raise the Opti-Vibe counter weight or use lighter Opti-Vibe when:
Delofting putter (too much lag)
Pushing
Too head heavy
Having to help it
Putter too heavy
Too much inside to inside stroke

Lower the Opti-Vibe counter weight or use heavier Opti-Vibe when:
Adding loft
Pulling
Head too light
Putter too light
Too much outside to outside stroke

Add a TourLock Pro Counter Weight (40 to 100 grams) only when:
Club is too long
Club is too heavy
Inconsistent contact
